New instance, new #introduction. Originated on @themadcodger, but migrated to @madcodger because I wanted to try #firefish (then #calckey) out over mastodon. I ended up preferring it, and while I still have my masto account, haven't really gone back. I've been wanting to get off of the big server for a while now, so I'm looking to make a home elsewhere. I picked a smaller server, but it may have been too small. It also may have died recently, so I'm looking elsewhere.

At any rate, I'm just a guy in the #PNW that likes going on adventures and #travel, #hiking, and #backpacking. I'm also into #Board Games and #ttrpg, specifically #Pathfinder2e / #pf2e. Online, I try to keep up on #privacy and local/national #politics without being overwhelmed or depressed... which is not easy to do.

I've got a black #cat named Nef, and sometimes find time for #baking and #knitting, though not as much anymore.
